Terms and Conditions of Sale
Our name is “Desks for Backs” however, this is a business name only and is in not any way suggesting that the products cure or solve back issues or problems. We recommend that you seek professional advice from a health professional as to whether our products are suited for you and your needs. Additionally, we are not liable for damages caused by, or in connection with, the products we sell. Our products may be sold and shipped as flat-packed items or unassembled. It is the customer’s responsibility to correctly assemble and/or install any goods. The customer should ensure that the goods have been correctly assembled or installed in accordance with all manufacturing guidelines and/or requirements before using the products. We are more than happy to provide you with the contact details for the manufacturer’s help/support centre for specific product-related questions.
The customer must follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. These instructions may be included in the packing of the product or may be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website. The customer must ensure that the assembly, installation and use of the goods meet all statutory requirements.
All goods are sold, and the services (if any) are performed, on the understanding that all licences and permits under all relevant statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations have been obtained by the customer if applicable.
Order Confirmation:
When you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorised your payment type for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we ensure your product is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process your payment and submit the order for shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will not process your payment and we will reach out to you via e-mail or telephone.
Order Shipment:
If your order is in stock and we process your payment, your item will be shipped within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information to the e-mail address you provided within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse. If you are still waiting to receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, please email us at orders@desksforbacks.com.au.
